Youth Entrepreneurship Takes Center Stage at AbikeAmosun Foundation’s Empowerment Programme

The AbikeAmosun Foundation, in partnership with the Ayetoro Youths Association, has successfully hosted a groundbreaking one-day business empowerment programme at the New Gbadebo Omidokun Hall in Ayetoro-Yewa, Yewa North Local Government Area, Ogun State. The event, which drew over 600 participants, aimed to equip youths with skills and strategies for entrepreneurship and self-reliance.
Training sessions covered a range of vocational skills, including shoemaking, bag making, catering, event hosting, decoration, arts and crafts, graphic design, and fashion design. Participants also learned practical methods to transform ideas into profitable ventures and enhance their sales strategies.
The highlight of the day was the presentation of start-up grants to 15 outstanding attendees and mentorship opportunities for over 100 youths, signaling a commitment to long-term support and development.
Founder of the AbikeAmosun Foundation, Toluwalope Abike Amosun, emphasized the significance of equipping young people with practical skills and entrepreneurial tools. She urged participants to leverage the training and mentorship to achieve financial independence and contribute to their communities.
This initiative underscores the foundation’s dedication to fostering entrepreneurship, promoting rural development, and empowering Ogun State youths to achieve their full potential.

Toluwalope Abike Amosun, widely known as “AbikeAmosun,” is a visionary leader committed to driving impactful change through community service and entrepreneurship. With over a decade of experience in commercial banking, SME operations, and business consulting, she has become a trusted growth strategist across various sectors.
An associate member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), Toluwalope holds an MSc in business and has successfully merged her professional expertise with her passion for rural development.
Her journey in community service began during her undergraduate days at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, where she studied Theatre and Performing Arts. Since founding the AbikeAmosun Foundation in 2018, she has spearheaded numerous initiatives addressing education, healthcare, and economic empowerment in underserved communities.
Through innovative programmes like “Idea to Business,” she empowers individuals with practical skills, mentorship, and access to start-up capital. Beyond her foundation, Toluwalope serves on the boards of several organizations and actively contributes to impactful solutions in manufacturing, commerce, and education.
