Birmingham is gearing up to host the National Digital Awards 2026, a black-tie event recognising excellence in the digital industry. Scheduled for 22nd May 2026 at The Birmingham Conference and Events Centre and Holiday Inn, the awards are expected to attract over 500 professionals, including designers, developers, marketers, and digital agencies from across the UK.
The awards were founded by Cas Majid of Wow Group of Companies, in partnership with Anita Chumber and Ifraz Ahmed of B Events. According to Majid, the National Digital Awards 2026 is a celebration of resilience and creativity in a sector that has faced economic uncertainty, shifting government policies, and the rapid growth of artificial intelligence.
“I’ve seen an awful lot — from the dot-com crash to the generative AI boom. Running a digital business in this climate is hard work, and often thankless. Talent in our industry deserves recognition,” Majid said.
The awards will honor achievements across website and digital products, technology innovation, agency talent and culture, and digital campaign performance, highlighting both small and large businesses. B Events, known for delivering standout business events in the Midlands, will manage the ceremony, ensuring an experience that reflects the importance of digital professionals often working behind the scenes.
A judging panel of twelve leading industry figures has been carefully selected, including Stephen Knight of Pimento, Chris Bantock of The Agency Adventure, and Manish Kapur of Manish Kapur Consulting. Panelists will evaluate entries across various categories to ensure fair recognition of talent.
Nominations are now open for the National Digital Awards 2026, with the deadline set for 28th February 2026. Finalists will be announced on 9th March 2026. Professionals are encouraged to nominate peers, colleagues, or employees via the official website: www.nationaldigitalawards.co.uk.
Birmingham’s digital community is expected to shine in May as the National Digital Awards 2026 celebrates innovation, creativity, and excellence across the sector.
