Jason Boyle of the Royal Institute of British Architects takes the top spot
Membership World, the global community for membership professionals, has released its inaugural Top 100 Most Influential Membership Professionals Index, spotlighting leaders shaping impact and influence across professional communities worldwide.
At the very top of the list is Jason Boyle, from the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). Boyle, who chairs the Fellowship and has served as a dedicated committee member for more than 25 years, expressed his gratitude:
“RIBA has always been passionate about supporting its members and advancing the profession of architecture worldwide. It’s been a privilege to play a part in ensuring architects, wherever they may be, feel supported, empowered, and connected to a global community,” Jason said.
His online influence is remarkable — with over 5 million impressions annually and some posts reaching more than 350,000 views. Boyle credits his consistency, authenticity, and commitment to honest conversations as the driving force behind his engagement.
Following closely are Sophie Devonshire, CEO of the Marketing Society, recognized for her passion in championing marketing professionals, and John Hewko, General Secretary of Rotary International, who secured the third position.
Speaking on the announcement, Gordon Glenister, CEO and Founder of Membership World, noted:
“This is the first time we have sought to highlight influential individuals in the association and membership sector for their level of online impact. Focused on LinkedIn, this index demonstrates the importance of consistent, high-value content and reinforces the value of the membership sector.”
The index not only celebrates visibility but also underscores the critical role membership professionals play in fostering connection, thought leadership, and global collaboration.
